The new Lee and Murray Kushner Family Building at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance breaks ground

A ceremony was held on Thursday, October 31st celebrating the start of construction of the new building in the presence of Mr. Moshe Lion, Mayor of Jerusalem and the Kushner family, amongs.

The Academy's new addition, the Lee and Murray Kushner Family Building, an Advanced Inter Arts Center, designed by HQ Architects and Hollwich Kushner (HWKN), consists of various studios arranged around a central gathering space, connecting different rooms and spaces, providing the infrastructure and conditions for the interchange between different fields of dance and music. The building's design enhances the interaction and cross-fertilization between disciplines, which are critical to the academy’s student development.

The 2,500 sq. meters new Jerusalem Academy building is expected completion in 2022.
