Shlomo Hamelech Masteprlan in Lod receives final approval from the Planning Committee

We are happy to announce that our Shlomo Hamelech Masteprlan in Lod has received final approval by the VATMAL Planning Committee! The 236,000 m² masterplan got the green light and will go ahead in order to redevelop existing undervalued urban fragments, enhance connectivity, and provide new residential and commercial spaces in Lod.

The Masterplan creates a semi high density sustainable urban environment, with residential areas with local commerce and many public spaces, enhancing connectivity between different areas, minimizing traffic congestion and providing an exciting mix of residential and commercial spaces. The plan will introduce 3,613 units of new residential spaces and 14,757 m² of new commercial space.

The masterplan will also upgrade local infrastructure and enhance connectivity to the city and to nearby Tel Aviv. The green zone is extended and will connect to existing green paths, opening up to surrounding areas, providing quality green spaces for the community. A new boulevard with green spaces is created, where the new metro station will be located.

Well done to the whole team and to Project Architects Danielle Ella and Dror Tshuva, and to Urban Studio Director Dani Litay.
