The hotel is located within a Nature Reserve area in the north of Israel, next to the Hasbani river, what is known as the heart of the Upper Galilee resort country. HQ Architects was commissioned to create a concept for a unique hotel complex near the river that embraces and highlights nature. The vision for the resort complex is established around the idea that people can indulge in the comfort of their privacy, and at the same time share some communal activities and enjoy socializing.
The entire complex is defined by the water element as it is created by an artificial diversion of the river, which allows for the four resorts to be designed in a way that feels almost like floating. The design showcases the deep connection of the hotel with its various surrounding natural elements. The four units of the compound create a bridge over the water, while each unit faces different directions of the surrounding landscape emphasizing its connection with nature, providing guests a serene experience embedded in nature.
The 3,440 m² resort comprises four units in total, 60 m² each. Each unit incorporates 5 rooms of 60 m² each that includes two suites, a 90 m² pool, one central lounge with a kitchen and dining table, and a library area, together with generous balcony spaces of 30-45 m². The complex also includes a Lobby area, a Spa, and a restaurant. The units face different directions of the landscape, and all the rooms are positioned in a way to enjoy spectacular views, while the use of vegetation between them enhances privacy and defines the compound.
