The Landscape Chapter of the Bat Yam master plan presents a holistic vision that seamlessly integrates urban development, traffic systems, environmental considerations, and irrigation strategies. This comprehensive approach aims to redefine the city's public spaces, ensuring they are sustainable and future-ready.
Grounded in extensive research, the plan builds on the city’s existing assets, such as its dense urban fabric, distinctive parks, and linear promenades, while incorporating forward-thinking principles of sustainable development. At the core of the plan is the ‘Green Network’—a continuous, walkable public space that connects key commercial and public hubs, parks, the beach, and the city’s periphery. This network not only enhances accessibility but also establishes vital blue and green infrastructure to support ecological balance and urban resilience.
