Located within the Jerusalem Sports Complex, the new Tennis Center upgrades a longstanding community asset by introducing 9,000 sq.m. of modern, year-round indoor facilities, designed to meet international standards.
The two-story building features six indoor courts on the upper level, allowing for uninterrupted play in all weather conditions. Natural ventilation systems ensure optimal climate control throughout the year. The ground floor accommodates support functions, including clinics, alternative sports spaces, and athlete accommodations — creating a comprehensive training and community environment. Facing the planned light rail station, the center will also include a new commercial frontage, increasing accessibility and activating the street. As part of the design, the previously enclosed site is opened up to the public, removing existing barriers and re-integrating the facility into the surrounding urban context. The new Tennis Center enhances both local engagement and the broader sporting landscape of Jerusalem — turning a once-enclosed venue into an open, inviting, and future-ready destination.
