YA-INN is a new hospitality and leisure venue built around the legacy of Eilat Wines — a long-standing institution in Israel’s southernmost city — creating a space where locals and visitors can connect through a shared culture of wine.
Located at the edge of Eilat’s industrial zone, the project transforms the existing Eilat Wines site into a high-standard wine hotel and cultural hub. With over 15 years of activity and 10,000 annual visitors, Eilat Wines combines distribution, education, and culinary events — making YA-INN not a conceptual extension, but a physical continuation of a working wine institution. The new design maintains a direct dialogue with the existing structure, preserving portions of the original ceiling and structural system while introducing two volumes: one rising two stories, the other six. The lower volume houses a generous public program — a wine bar, lounge, music stage, and display space — organized around two ground-floor patios and lit by skylights of varying heights. The ground level is open, social, and transparent, inviting both passersby and dedicated guests into the experience. Above, the hotel accommodates 80 rooms and dedicated wine storage, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the culture that surrounds them. The architecture seeks to balance the spirit of place with the refinement of wine — making YA-INN a landmark not just for Eilat, but for Israel’s broader wine and hospitality culture.
